As one of the leading conferences for translation and localization industry, LocWorld was designed to provide plenty of opportunities for networking and the exchange of latest information in the language services and technologies market.
Followed by another two conferences in Shanghai and Berlin this year, the most recent LocWorld Silicon Valley 2015 was held in Santa Clara Convention Center during Oct. 14 to Oct. 16.
With a strong program with multiple tracks including Global Business, Keynote, Advanced Localization Management, Content Strategy, Inside Track and TAUS as well as a preconference day of workshops, the conference offered a variety of presentations and panel discussions especially valuable for companies like us who have great interest in new technology, tools and global business practices in the areas of language services. The event, brought together many professionals and industry experts, was also a good place to get together with old friends and meet new ones from all over the world. What’s more, after the conference, we may have some thoughts like how we could bring more values to our customers, how we could get well prepared for technology development in our industry and other areas, and then finally figure out the best way to move forward.
The next conference LocWorld30 will take place in Tokyo, April 13-15, 2016.
